MY SACRED SPACE

MY SACRED SPACE

I rise to silence and an inky blue light
I’m the only one awake in the world.

Sitting on my mat I descend into stillness.
My heart begins to speak louder than my head
And a calm comes over my whole being.
My thoughts slow, my breathing softens,
My mind expands and I feel my spirit rise.

I soar high above the sleeping planet below,
To a place of complete solitude, bliss and calm.
At the edge of the Universe I look back on the Earth.
Nothing but sanctuary surrounds me here,
A feeling of being home.

This is my sacred space, it is where I am taken to
When I allow my heart to lead.
