We celebrated the first International Yoga Day on 21st June 2015 in Biscarrosse Plage with a free yoga class on the beach to live music from our talented friend and yogini Nadege. It was a wonderful class with around 35 yogis practicing together on the white sands and another 50 people watching. For me it was a magical moment to teach and I feel blessed that I was able to create this event and that so many people participated.
Thank you to the Indian Prime Minister for creating this day and allowing yogis worldwide to celebrate and respect the yoga practice that was brought to us from the East. Thank to my Swamis from the Sivananda Ashram and for Swami Vishnudevanda for all his great work in spreading the joy that is yoga to the West. Thank you finally to everyone who supported the event.
Enjoy this little video of the day.
